Agree! Columbian is killer!

Any idea how fine is the grind? I got the Moka Pot deal recently and just started making coffee at home. (Used to only to instant coffee before and drank most of my coffee at work or outside...

Been cold brewing this coffee for over a year. Good quality for the price

All of the prices appear to have gone up some since this was posted.

The best coffee comes from a Civet. An they've got it coming out the ass.

This is my coffee of choice. Its a mild blend that doesn't kick you in the head but still has a strong coffee flavor. Starbucks is the kick you in the head stuff.

Not the best coffee but the price is insane. Why not?!

Thanks for sharing. I was hoping for a deal on their hazelnut, but not today. I don't understand posting the 15% off price, you have to have 5 items in that delivery and the first delivery has to...

Eight O'Clock Columbian Peaks is the best of the big, cheap guys in my opinion. It's better than Community, Folger's, Dunkin Donuts (roasted by same people as Folger's), it isn't charred too death...

I totally disagree. Starbucks is consistently rated as a poor coffee due to their tendency to over-roast their beans. Starbuck's has some good stuff, but most of the house blends are over roasted to...

There’s no separate “espresso” coffee in Italy. If you’re thinking of Lavazza Caffe Espresso, that’s not it. Pretty much all Italian coffee is for espresso and moka. There’s not much distinction, and...

Received mine, running strong brew Kuerig setting and keeping it to eight ounces gets the strength I prefer. Well worth the price.

I'm spinning in circles. Are you saying regular drip grind that you get in the US is good for Moka?

Jose's Columbian beans at Costco for around $13 for 3 pounds.

This is my favorite mass market blend for whole bean in the drip maker. Has a unique flavor I dig - I like my coffee like I like my women...unadulterated

I just dumped my 3lbs bag into a plastic holder literally yesterday, I can tell you it's on the coarser side and not fine grinded. I think it is great for cold brew as I only drink cold coffee...

Bustelo tastes like garbage in my opinion. There's a reason it's dirt cheap. It's a robusta/arabica blend, so it is bitter but has tons of caffeine if you want! You don't need to buy coffee from...

See this is where I'm getting confused. You mention it's coarse. However the person just below you says it's finer than supermarket coffee. All supermarket coffee is generally for drip machine and...

I get that from living in Italy for a few years. You can make espresso or moka with either grounds. Coffee is either good and strong or bad. No Italian is going to even talk about whether it's...

Ah I guess that makes sense why it’s so cheap. Also I didn’t know you could get your own coffee to bring at Costco. It was my understanding that you can only grind Costco or Costco.com coffee...

But the James Hoffman video says for Moka you need more coarse than Espresso, but finer than drip coffee. I did get the Elli espresso can, however, i felt its too fine, but it certainly tastes...

Normally $14.85 for the 1.19kg size. Saving $4+ is a good deal. Personally I'd grab the hazelnut. A bit more per oz, but very good taste. Grinds well and has great flavour. Ignore the coffee snobs....

Yeah, Rosso or red is an all purpose coffee grind. It's a fine medium. It will vary a bit with brand of course. But the best way I can describe it is if you bought 10 bags of standard American ground...

Starbucks house blends (Veranda, Columbian, and others) often score abysmally by coffee tasters. Starbucks is known to over-roast a subpar product to gain consistency. This has earned them the...
