I bought a LG 49WL95C-W 49" IPS monitor because I shared your sentiments. It's now headed back to Amazon because I was wrong. 60hz is terrible for gaming once you get used to > 100fps Freesync/Gsync....

Specs say HDR10, but DP is version 1.2 per Asus website. I thought HDR10 was first supported in DP 1.4?

Prime day? Amazon’s annual flea market to clear out the worst of their garbage? You may find a 768p 19” TN VGA panel for $200, but nothing close to anything you’d actually want.

I got the LG version, it goes on sale for $400 pretty often, it's 75hz IPS, so beautiful picture but it's not HDR 10 or curved screen. Highly recommended.

Why would you ever buy a monitor with no reviews? Manufacturer specs are almost always inaccurate/misleading, and don't tell you about the grey uniformity, color accuracy, etc.

Can anyone recommend a good office/gaming ultrawide with g-sync? Most of what I'm seeing is freesync and not adaptive-sync capable for the light gaming I do.
