Still have mine from 35+ years ago. Eventually replaced the sheath but that was it. It's heavy, sure, and it's a lockback so no easy-open, but solid as a rock.

There's no s10v. There are tradeoffs for every alloy. Buck's 420HC is easier to sharpen and less likely to chip than S30V or D2 at the cost of lower abrasive wear resistance.
