I think you are better off with Infinity 152. I got the 162 and they hang in there very well with Paradigm mini-mk3's which to me are the best sounding bookshelfs at $400/pair.

I am sure you know that most speakers need a break in period to really shine! The C 95 as a floor standing speaker pair might be a better option with a dedicated tweeter, mid range and bass...

Can't speak for the C97's, but the C95's sound awesome with my SVS SB3000 sub. I do have the C9II center and the dialogue comes in crystal clear for movies.
