I don't understand why people need very bright screen. I always set my TV brightness at half. I mean you're not putting TV in sunny outdoor. High contrast is more important.

Don’t trust brickseek at all on TV’s. I went to 3 Walmart’s where BS said there was stock and nothing. Not only that, no Walmart has any 50-55 inch TVs of any brand in stock. None.

Nice TV. Got one a couple weeks ago from Amazon for $200 with the 20% coupon and really like it for a bedroom TV. It doesn't get very bright though at highest setting at least compared to any other...
