I just got one PRS CE 24 from Guitar Center. They matched musicianfriend price and they had it in stock. They were surprised that it was 500 off, since they never saw one with the type of discount...

I was thinking the same thing. When I've looked into getting a PRS, the CE24 is the one I always see recommended. I will probably end up getting one myself, and 1500 bucks new is a pretty tempting...

I highly suggest PRS's value line of guitars. I think it is called the SE 22. For the money, they are nice. You are still buying a $500 guitar, but the attention to detail is better than what other...

Who else can you name? they need to endorse a really big pop/rock band. John Mayer, while a good guitarist, is not really marketed as a legend. In fact, I would argue that his music is geared towards...

The idea that people are drawn to Epiphone due to endorsements certainly shows that endorsements are just marketing.

This isn't an SE though, it's an S2 USA. All models explicitly state veneer or solid figured maple top. This one is vague, which is unlike PRS, so I'm not sure.

I personally used to love the look at the PRS - i wanted one so bad 10 years ago. Now IMO it hasn’t aged well. It does look like a product of the 2000’s. It has a bit too much flare and comes off...
