Those should fit, I have the GP 5000 on my non-Viathon bike. Check the review pictures on Amazon, they run a bit smaller than 28mm so it should fit. They are very nice tires, feel suppple and fast.

Once you’re sure your bike is shifting properly just get rid of it. It just clips on the spokes, if you can’t reclip it there’s no way to tighten it.
