I have 2 Dell 27" monitors 1080p 2k, and they work fine for me. Light gaming, web surfing, HD video, and office work mainly. All personal taste I guess. I got mine for much less than this.

Bought at Costco 3 months ago for 179 Love it. You won't regret it. Remember your 42 inches TV was 1080p a few years ago and was great.

FYI this is wrong. 1440p is FORMALLY referred to as 2k 2k=WQHD=1440p

I've checked LG monitors online and at Costco regularly. I have never seen this monitor on sale at Costco. Are you confused by a similar model? This is 144hz, IPS. I can't blame anyone confused...

it's an IPS monitor and it is G-Sync Compatible @ 144hz. This is actually pretty cheap for these features.

No, I'm not confused. I work for Costco in the Majors (electronics) department and I walk past this monitor a couple hundred times a day. Standard price is $250 and the sale price is $180 - $220. ...

Received deal notification in email. thought it is 27GL83A, but sadly it is not. If you do not have a 27 2K monitor, you can try it. If you are looking for a second 27+ monitor, do not try.

not really, this is normal price. I got this for $200 at Costco. Not a bad monitor but I agree I would suggest spending $50 more for a 1440p over the g sync. To each their own.

I wish the terminology stayed the same from 1080p to 4K. It was just a marketing gimmick that likely suckered in a lot of people. I guess 2160P doesn't sound as nice as 4K UHD.
