I had both. The spl has wider frequency response range hence better for movies. I ended up keeping the spl because it’s just better.

Found out about the 112SW or I would have gotten that over the 120sw. The 112 seems to rarely hit sales; With the 12sw likely going to $179 next week, it puts it at under 50% of the price of the 112

The specs are the same from what I can tell. I have 2 of the first gen PL200s. The 2nd gen has 2 front ports that probably move more air. I'd like to see a side by side comparison.

Amps would occasionally fail for some reason, one call to Klipsch and they will mail you a new amp so you can fix it. I have the 115-SW haven't had one issue.

That's because your sub is only 120w RMS and goes down to 40hz, it's probably really struggling @ 80hz and below though. The Klipsch would be a step up for you, but again I'd still recommend the BIC...

Just stick to the cheapest , even you mentioned you “can't turn these on too loud”. You probably shouldn’t use a sub in an apartment anyways.
