Love my Aquaclear 30. I use it on a 10 gallon planted. I have a bag of poly fill and I stuff a handful into the filter cage. Then throw a bag of bio media on top of that. Clean it every month or so....

Both the same is nice but I had on my 75g, two 110's before upgrading to fx6 cannister. I'd keep what you have, until you get bigger tank if/when, but am a fan of overfiltration.

Aquaclear are indeed among the top hob. I suggest looking at replacing the insides with a medium sponge filter floss and bio ring setup. Never have to buy cartridges and such again.
