I have one and it's triband. 2.4Ghz, 5GHz, and a 5GHz backhaul and have yet to encounter an issue. My bigger issue is crap Comcast.

Might need to make sure the model number is RBK30.... the newer model RBK20 is $169-199. Both looks the same including packaging. RBK 30 has 4 Ethernet on the back while there are only 2 on the RBK20
