Why do you keep asking this on all the gaming laptop posts? You don't need a gaming laptop, as everyone keeps telling you, so just get a regular laptop workout a fancy graphics card, 16gb of RAM and...

You should be able to do both, 1080p 60-80 FPS https://youtu.be/5y1tI8fm6OI Note that recording gameplay drops FPS about 10/15%, so what you see should be higher during actual gameplay

There's no official benchmarks out yet but the rumor is that it's close 2060 max-q.

My ASUS A15 w/ 4800H, 1TB NVMe, 16GB RAM, GTX 1660ti, and 144hz screen for $1,000 (at regular price) is a better value in my opinion. You know I did all this research on the ASUS A15 and the big...

I was already contemplating buying that, but I don't need a 1660ti and I'd like to save some battery AND money by getting one without a dedicated graphics card By the way, did you find an asus...

If you plan on using this as a laptop and opening/closing it, the hinge absolutely will fail and destroy the screen after a couple months. I would avoid any with this hinge as it is a very well...

About the same, not sure if the Ryzen 5 would bottleneck it tho. But for 100 more I’d get a MSI w 2060 and 120Hz screen

Agreed! My main comment is above but I was wondering if anybody has noticed any lagging or freezing with the touchpad in the Asus TUF A15?

Awesome, your specs are a little better than what $1000 buys now, I think 512gb SSD VS 1TB.

I can't find this one with the specs you mentioned for $1,000 on best buy. Can you link me?

The Eluktronics RP-15 and RP-17 uses a popular chassis which has good cooling. With the R7 4800H and 2060 inside you can run it in office mode which almost halves the wattage of the CPU and still...

You might want to check your refresh rate. Best Buy had one labeled as 144hz, but it wasn’t. You can see a lot of complaints about that in the comments.
Post #137968934 added 06-13-2020 11:06 AM by HOMERSlMPSON in Deal Talk
I verified the one I have runs at 144hz, but that’s messed up for anyone who bought one and it wasn’t as advertised. Hope they got their money back or whatever.

The reason I went with the 2060 over the 1660ti is for DLSS 2.0. Down the road games will become much more demanding with the release of next gen consoles. With DLSS 2.0 I can run the game at 540p...

Lower than a 1660ti, so would compare this to a 1660 regular, which is also lower than a 1070 in performance.
