I would highly recommend m.zuiko 12-100mm F4 IS PRO if you just want one lens. This is very weak under low light conditions but have served me well otherwise.

17mm (35mm) is more true to the human eye. 25mm (50mm) is actually the edge or "normal length".
what you get out of 17 is a much true to aspect ratio. you can easily test it with your kit lens....
