Not at all. V30 had a tiny battery and was rated as one of the most efficient phones. G8 easily lasts a day, like my XS or S10+. I rarely see less than 7hrs screen time.

FYI The Amazon version of the LG G8 does not have a google assistant button. Makes sense since it's an Alexa phone. Phone cases will have an extra cutout for a button that doesn't exist.
