Joy of getting something new in the form of book is much bigger than getting worksheets on printer paper. I also do print worksheets but just on ad hoc to make things interesting for them.

Do people really not have a Dollar Tree/Dollar General/99 Cent Store nearby? It's half the price of this and you can use that savings to get your kid colored pencils to trace/color.

I tried that before, no interest from kids. These are cute colorful and fun. Way cheaper than remedial help when your kid falls behind.

If you have a laser printer, just buy 500 sheet of paper for $3-$4 and print your own sheet. If you really want, print on both sides for 1000 pages. :P
