I think these illustration heavy books should always be a physical copy. There is something different about looking at these images in print vs on the screen.

I would agree that a printed illustrated book would be nicer. However, this digital version is $3 which isn't breaking the bank for most people and if they like this filmmaker then go for it!

I agree, but with the large price difference this might be a good way to "preview" it and partially enjoy until the hardcover can be afforded or goes down in price.
