Yes normally you would need hardware that states it supports wireless bridging, or a router that states it supports bridging. Then you have to adjust some settings on the router to fix the DHCP issue.

Got it. Another thing I noticed that is that for v1 for M9, you can manually download the firmware it that isn’t the case for v2 hardware. So appears UI is different too.
