Torn between this and the 24" 1440p Lenovo on sale yesterday. Getting it for family: They dont game, and dont have the _sharpest_ eyesight. Go for this? Or wait for some other 27" non-gaming...

Dammit. I just bought an LG for about the same cost... looks like this would've been a better deal.

Please note that the one who offered better deals was quoting the earlier poster who used the GREATER THAN symbol next to the $200. So for greater than $200, he can find better deals. You...

...you realize 240hz isn't common or needed for 99% of setups, right?

The "zero-g" is relevant here lol To address your question, all freesync is g-sync compatible now with some working better than others. Here's a link to somebody saying that his zero-g monitor...

I used to test this screen, the color is bad or maybe acceptable, incase if you need a cheap monitor with good fps, this is good choice but if you really want to experiment a best graphic, just save...

You're looking at two different specs. GTG on Lenovo is 4ms, GTG on the monoprice is over 6. The response time you're referring to is clearly listed as the MPRT and you're comparing to Lenovos GTG.
Post #137706095 added 06-03-2020 7:08 PM by CD34 in Deal Talk
Thx for the precision, called lenovo and cancelled the order cancellation. I will maybe post an update as different sources give different spec for the lenovo. Found 144hz vs 165hz and contrast...

I've always had a good experience with Monoprice products in the past but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on this. I'll do some research but anyone have experience with their monitors?

Please allow me to clear things up. I thought this was hilarious. JayDee917 basically said that a monitor with 27"+, 1080p, 144hz+, and 1ms for GREATER THAN $200 is a good deal. BUT he meant to...

Short answer: I would go for this Monoprice monitor as long as you are OKAY with the curve (I have never had or used a curved monitor before so cannot help you there). Long answer: That being...

This monitor lists Response Time: 1ms MPRT (6.2ms GTG). The Lenovo is 4ms. But are you supposed to compare that to the 1ms or the 6.2ms?
Post #137690852 added 06-03-2020 9:53 AM by deal_dumpster in Deal Talk
It appears 1ms is the minimum response time, with 6.2 the avg. The Lenovo is at 4ms minimum, 6ms avg, 14ms maximum according to this site...

This checks most of the boxes for features I've been looking for. 27"+, 1080p and 144hz+ and 1ms for >$200. Curved and slick design a plus. Thanks OP!
