I have to agree that Samsung and Lg not reliable.. my Samsung refrigerator, similar style, does not cool consistently on the top section after 6 yr. Then milk will spoil after 1 week. I don't know...

Bosch is good for dishwashers. Use consumer reports for any honest review. It’s a paid site but you should be able to get to the site for free from your local library online verification.

Brand name does not matter. Buy an extended warranty for 5 years no matter what. Lowe’s has good reputation for honoring their extended warranty. PM there and buy it using a Costco Citi card.
