The one you linked stores the clips locally. If someone takes the doorbell then the clips are gone. The newer wireless one in the OP stores the clips on the homebase and the cloud.

I think that’s normal for it to discharge a bit and recharge. It’s not good to keep a battery at 100% all the time.

This does not come with a chime. This is the wireless doorbell by itself. The wired doorbell version comes with a chime.

Sorry for the confusion - it can be controlled by the same home base but you can’t cue off these cameras (no smart home automation) like you can with the standard Eufy cameras.

Thanks for pointing that out, I guess I can't read. I had used ring v2 with no problems but the eufy wouldn't let me complete setup. Had to do the new transformer and then it worked fine ever...

I get thru about 1.5 weeks per charge with this. It’s easy to detach but it’s still best to use a wired setup if you can. If you can’t then just be aware

I just bought this doorbell, and put it on wires but still losing battery like 15% a day, I tested the doorbell wiring, it came out 19.8 volt. I don’t know why is not charging

Since you need the homebase 2 to operate this camera. The home base can act as the chime so no need to purchase a separate chime.
