i put mine together this weekend. the footrest screws are a bit flimsy and don't do a great job (They have a coarse thread), but you can swap out the screws easily for better ones.

Ugh none of these HD/Lowes deals are ever anywhere close for me. They are still over pricing the google devices after the firesale a few wks ago. They marked down but barely.

I haven't really bothered trying. Wood glue would definitely help but they sit pretty loosely as they aren't a tight fit in the notched holes they slide into when assembling. If you can fill the hole...
