You're paying way more for exactly similar, in not slightly worst performance. Check the review link I have given. The model you're referring is m15 R2 which just has the cpu upgraded to i7-9750H....

I'd go for the sager 15 inch for 1500 no tax (in most states). Comes with 2070 super and 8 core processor. Performance bump from max q design to super is like 25%. Slightly thicker at 1.18 inch.

Right price for this device. Not overpriced, not a "great" deal either, 2 generation behind on 6 core processor. Not like it matter much on gaming fps tho.
