Try resetting the speaker. I believe there is a place on the back of speaker which you can press to reset.

Just to clarify, the lag is a gradual delay between the video and the audio. So as a movie was playing, it would begin perfectly sync'd but within 15-20 minutes the audio was one or two seconds...
