If it makes everyone feel better (who can't get this deal), I feel like hi and low speed-only would be a pain to use. My Dremel 3001 has 10 speed and it's super nice to be able to position it where...

A lot! I was cutting a catalytic converter out of a low slung sports car - no room for a hacksaw or saws-all, so I had to make do with a dremel after making a perforated line of holes with an...

I have this. It's terrible. Battery life and power falls off a cliff very quickly. Would not buy again.

I bought this for my dog's nails. Tried half-successfully many times but it scares him so much that it's always a miserable experience and we no longer try with this.

This is more toy than serious tool. 7.2 volts just doesn't cut it. But perfectly fine for beginners (responsible kids) or very light work.

I have one of these that is marketed for dog nails. It looks the same with a paw on it. I haven’t worked up the time or courage to try and use it on the dog. Just to sharpen a knife or 2

I had one of these, the battery lasted 10min max and took forever to charge, I would never buy one of these again

This is really basic. Buy the bigger model, it will work for anything and this small one will take forever to complete most jobs. get the 8220

Had this, the battery lasted me ~2 years with me using once a month or so. Get a corded and you will be in much better shape.

Anyone else try these on dog nails? Been thinking about getting this to do my dog’s but he’s already so frightened with just getting a buzz cut from a pair of Wahl clippers. I don’t know how he’d...

Unless you're getting this to do your Pomeranians nails once a month $5 still wouldn't make this slick. Not enough power, not enough battery. If going cordless the 8220 12v Dremel, the 18v ryobi, the...

This is one of few devices I recommend going for off-brand. Unless something changed recently these still use a Ni-Cd battery. By far one of worst dremel devices I've owned. Most knockoffs are...

I found some around my area. I’m trying to build my garage tool resources, should I just invest in a more expensive dremel or is this a good investment?
Post #137968901 added 06-13-2020 12:04 PM by Train in Deal Talk
I agree. My much cheaper Black & Decker rotary tool has been much more reliable and lasted much longer. I do like my Dremel accessory kit with the EZ lock attachments though. Incidentally, I was...

Not a great deal. NiCd battery and only two speed. NiCd batteries have to be charged every time you use the tool, because they go flat so fast in storage.

Another BS+WM failure. The Walmart wasn't that far from me but not a big deal. My BS+WM success rate is hovering at around 15%.
