I love these wire strippers. Miles better than the typical squeeze and pull variety that most people own. If you make up wires even just once a year these are worthwhile.

These suck. They don't bit the insulation like other brands. Also the crimpers are worthless. They do work, just not well. If its thicker gauge and grippy but not stretchy insulation they work...

From my experience these work great on 14g and thicker wire, decent up to 18g but just use a normal wire stripper on anything over 18g. But could be user error ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
