You don’t want to cut the wire, just the coating, right? They’re all like how you describe. You could use a razor, for example, but you risk cutting the wiring too.

I own this and a Chinese clone of it. Both works exactly the same. You can buy the Chinese clone on aliexpress for 50% the price if you don't mind waiting. I do use the genuine one though, lol.

I have a set of these, I've used pretty well, I like em. The yellow wire length part on mine is worn out though so I gotta hold it, still faster with a bunch of wire than strippers for me.

I love these wire strippers. Miles better than the typical squeeze and pull variety that most people own. If you make up wires even just once a year these are worthwhile.

These suck. They don't bit the insulation like other brands. Also the crimpers are worthless. They do work, just not well. If its thicker gauge and grippy but not stretchy insulation they work...

Not worth the money. Only works on certain type of wires, and doesn't work all the time. I ended up going back to normal wire stripper.
