FWIW, I found the accuracy of the inches per hour (in the advanced zone settings) to be critical for flex daily to work well. Guessing the rate was set too high for your zones that were still dry.

I would also check the schedule “type”. Sounds like the setting is “flex monthly” and you would want “flex daily” if you are after more intelligent watering.

I've had a Gen 2 for over 3 years, and my parents have a Gen 1 for over 5 years now. Both work great, never connectivity issues, and web interface in the browser is handy as well.

Sorry, did not mean simultaneously, but having the ability to manually overide multiple water stations, to come one after another, via the app. Its easy to do on the control box however.
