Rarely any problems. Some devices they work better as they have better amperage output.
There are a few things that require a full 1.5v, but they are few.

Why does this have to be such a crap-shoot? Hell, we're not even sure if Eneloops are Japanese any longer. Japanese batteries should be labeled as such and Chinese labeled as such.
