I got an offer from Greentoe for $3599 for the 77" C9. So if you want to go that route, i'd recommend that. Still not quite down to the price point I was hoping.

In all fairness, most TVs are not made to have things chucked at them... but if things are being chucked, then a SquareTrade warranty that covers such "accidents" would probably be warranted.
