I'd say no, and I wouldn't expect this to last in saltwater use very long anyway. Freshwater I'm sure this is fine and will last a while...but a $30 reel marked down to $17, it wasn't all that good...

Ends up costing around $25.83 shipped to the Orange County CA area. Currently on Amazon these are $27. According to CCC lowest price has been $24.99. So not a bad deal especially if you can get free...
