Correct. This is de facto a BYOD, Bring Your Own Device. Unlock should be through a preloaded app, and should be done without any aggravation.

Yes, same here. Plus the hassle to go through unlocking the 7T with T Mobile, makes the factory unlocked ZTE that much more appealing in this comparison.

The 7T is slightly better all around but quite a bit more expensive, up to you what your prioritize. Personally I would go for the lower price since I don't exactly need a top of the line phone but...

OLED displays are fused to the glass. You can't replace one without the other. Well, you CAN, but it would look like crap. Have to buy the whole display.

I purchased and reached out to T Moblie and OnePlus. They will not unlock the phone from the T Mobile network. I'm returning the phone to OnePlus.

Not really. Both have $599 msrp. Both have the Snapdragon 855, oled, etc. One is discounted $100 and the other $200. Did you go to the Derek Zoolander school for kids who can't read well? 😂 Jk
