Pliers aren’t consumable, but most DIYers don’t need $50 Knipex pliers. It all depends on your needs and frequency of usage. Decent DIY brand, but with tools you usually get what you pay for.

The Irwin pliers are good enough for 99% of the guys out there. Pliers are consumables, like perishable tools. Unless you are making money out of it, don't spend big bucks on them
