It is a decent price for a cordless heat gun tool alone, however, it got a lot of critics on not high enough temperature and no power control. The solder iron is a good deal if you pickup in store....

Just get an adapter for the battery you currently have. Then you can use your current batteries in Ryobi tools like these. No need to fully switch to a new ecosystem.

Why switch? Most of us use Dewalt, Rigid, or Milwaukee here, and still have some Ryobi tools. Ryobi offers some unique and/or inexpensive tools that are definitely worth owning too.
