Just replaced my s15's with the 702s and they are outstanding. They are behemoths though. Despite seeing them in pictures and videos, I still wasn't prepared for how huge these are. But the form...

I was thinking about using these as rear heights. Do you have them mounted sideways with the tweeters pointed down?

I guess this is a dumb question but if you want a 7.2 system, these would represent the 2 rear? Or the 2 middle surrounds? Or you can buy 4 of these for surround and rear? Or?

I use these as side surrounds, but not as rear surrounds. I have 703 in the rear. Side surrounds 5.1 are probably the next step before going full 7.1 or more

This isn't an all-in-one surround system. They are just two speakers. You'd still need an amplifier/receiver and additional speakers to get full surround.

Everything is inphase so it would be considered a bipole. Could just take one side apart and flip the polarity to make it a dipole. Some other manufactures have a switch for that.
