Didn't work for me. This model also pulled on my hairs a lot and was painful. I returned mine and switched to Braun which has been working perfectly with no tug.

I have Arc4 and it's starting to pull hair. May be because of blades, but it pulls more hair if the beard is longer than 2 mm or so. A new Arc5 unit should be ok for thick beard.

It's not a single special edition pack. They just threw in the extra foil (WES 9173P) with the ES-LV65-S shaver. Everything's made in Japan except for the adapter. I attached the pictures.

I have had the arc4 which is one up from yours. There was a big improvement when I got the arc5. When the blades are sharp on the arc5 I don't think there is a better electric out there.
