I was so happy with the first one, I got a second one for dual screen. My other Ultrawide LG didn't stand a chance next to it.

I bought two for our home office and casual gaming setup. Thanks OP. If the pixel size is too big it's an easy return to costco.

According to Newegg, the Asus has AMD Freesync and a VA panel. This LG has Nvidia gsync and an IPS panel. I've never compared them side by side, but many people value the gsync and IPS more.

It seems to me you're the shill here. Somehow he is right. Yes, you lose a lot of screen real-estate on a 1080p vs a 1440p on a 27', but for gaming this is really a very good deal. Again, I...

Even worse, will get around 80 to 100 fps, not the monitors rated 165 unless you got a powerfull gpu. Playing at 1920 x 1080 will be easier to reach 144 or 165.
