Yes, even with XMP.. I noticed I also can't run sticks in banks #1 and #3. Only #2 and #4..or else unstable. I actually bought two more sticks of 8GB..so all four banks were filled with 8GB each=32...

It should say in the manual what slots to run if just two sticks of RAM. And most mobos aren't made for running all 4 slots unfortunately.

Manual says for two sticks only either #1 and #3 (which never worked) or #2 and #4 (which works) Manual also says all four banks can be used at same time. So much for the manual. I already know AMD...

Yes, always XMP mode.. I have not messed with timings+voltage.I am not OC anything either. Ryzen 2600 is stable as is so I'm not going to mess with tweaks.

The difference from CL15 3000 to CL16 3200 will be negligible, but the upgrade from 16GB to 32GB would be nice.

The supported RAM list on motherboard sites is kinda useless. They'll list sponsored/tested ram modules the day they release the motherboard, but pretty much any DDR4 RAM is going to work just fine....

Ok deal for a 32g 3200 c16. There’s usually a brand or two in this spec at this price. I went with the team group in the same spec for the heat sink.
