Pretty good value here, though if you plan on gaming I'd still recommend the Pixio px275h instead. At $40 more the Pixio gives you 95hz compared to 75hz on this Acer.

I have one of these and two v277u. I can't tell the difference. I wouldn't buy a monitor from Newegg though. Very poor pixel policy.

Thanks for sharing. I like the monitor. Prime Days are coming soon, not sure if it's worth the wait. $243 for a 27" - 2k - 144hz is a pretty good deal IMO.

I guess that's just something that isn't a big deal to me. I'd rather have the 144hz.

It's VA vs IPS, no brainier in my opinion.

This is a pretty good deal. About $30 off the MSRP. I checked out the specs and I don't see any shortcomings.

Price go back up? I see $360 before any coupon. N/M, looking at this one, which is identical model # except it's Nitro (144hz)...so weird:...

I think you are right. Even Acer's website does not list the refresh rate for the V227U. That does not instill confidence. I would steer clear.

The one you posted from Amazon repeatedly says 60Hz, yet one line shows 75Hz. Not sure which to trust.

Was thinking about getting two of these. Any idea how these compare to the V277U for the same price? ...
