There is a command line option that allows the setting of separate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5ghz on the RBK50. Not sure if it applies to this model. There is no support for it on the GUI.

So if I'm a few feet away from a satellite the router will just assign me 2.4 ghz or 5ghz depending on what it thinks I should be using? No way I can change that?

How does this compare with the Deco M5, just in terms of stability? It's for the parents, so minimal hassle is paramount. There's ethernet backhaul, so I don't really care about dual-band vs tri-band
