I used these quite a bit a few years ago... I never had this issue of the filter breaking to release the grounds. And, in the time I was using it, I went through at least 200 of them.

The concept of less plastic is great and all but these have terrible filtering material. Be ready to have a cesspool of liquified coffee grinds at the bottom of each cup and double the maintenance...

This is my preferred Keurig choice because it tastes great, and is the most environmentally friendly Keurig cup on the market. I've never had grounds in my cup.
