This. I had one that lasted for about a month before it stopped charging on one side. The lights would still come on like it was charging but my joycons would still be drained.

You need additional Joy Cons that don't originally come included with the Lite. This isn't a product that works only with one version of the Switch. It's for the controllers themselves.
