Have one of these and agree with everyone. They do sag. If they had a middle support, it would be much better. Maybe cutting a 2x4 and screwing it to the shelf. Haven’t tried but would possibly work.

Paint the shelves. Then grab a pack of Never Wet hydrophobic spray paint. The shelves will NEVER absorb moisture. If they warp from weight, just flip them over.
