Question on these pull chain style ceiling fans: can you completely cut off the pull chains and operate both the fan and the light via light switches and/or aftermarket remote/transmitter?

Can't say about this specific fan but I have bunch of fans with pull chains. I have never used the chains. I have these wired for two wall switches which work just fine.

You sure can. I have a different pull chain at home and it has separate fan and light wall switch. I imagine the remote transmitters connect and control the fan similarly to how separate wall...
