None of the G1 line. Sound wave and master blaster were "played" transforming tapes but none of the gen 1 line toys were functional cassette players.

Yes. I'm not sure if today's plastic is on par with plastic from 30 years ago but otherwise should be the same. Should even have the original Hasbro/Takara date stamp.

Seriously. I love G1 and I love these reissues but they are so ridiculously overpriced it’s not even funny. IMHO retail on this should be $20 then they’d be able to sell a ton of them and make a lot...
