Not sure why the thumbs down. Seems like a decent deal, especially if you can get the added bonus percentages. There was a Seagate 8TB not long ago that was a bit cheaper..

Because it should be YMMV. Not everyone has the 15% discount.
The price is still available today however. $15/GB is good for today's covids.
