There are ways to get youtube kids on these. I did it on the fire 7 for my son. Will do it again on this new one when it arrives.

Yes, there is a way to install it and the entire Play Store, but only on the parent side of the tablet. Older versions of the OS and launcher allowed users to share Play Store installs on the kids...

Yes you are right but I added some apps to increase security and only allow him to use certain apps and etc in the parent side. It works for us.
