These are hydrocolloid bandages, but in small circles and made to be not super sticky. I tried these before and they work pretty well. $4 a pack from 3M brand is quite average though.

This keeps you from messing with the pimples and it works in that the pimple doesn’t get bigger or worst. It’s for occasional flare ups and not for those with ache problems.
