For work/production this is the sweet spot. If you are looking at or reading text all day like I do 1920x1200 is as good as it gets.

Exactly. I remember a Dell deal from around 2005 where you got a desktop and a 24" 4:3 1920x1440 LCD for like $500. I bought 3 of them and 2 of the monitors are still used daily.

did a simple math: 100 dell e-gc is equal to $75 cash at cardcash so the total before tax for u2419h comes to 142.2 (assume CA tax 8.25%) not a great deal I would rather go to Benq gw2480

Main reason to get this would be color accuracy. Seems they're pretty well calibrated. While not having the best refresh rates and response time for gaming it would be a nice monitor for an artist.
