Did you try out your Samsung HW-Q6CR? Because my budget Samsung HW-R60M sounds really good in my opinion and the Samsung HW-Q6CR sounds even better.

Same experience with Polk for me. The only sound bars that I have had any luck with lasting more than a couple years is Samsung.
