Absolutely. They actually market a kit specifically for cutting dog nails. Obviously you don't need that exact kit, just use the sanding bands and you are good.

You need such kit only if you just get dremel. In real life you never "spend" all bits from kit. Better to by only needed bits. And "store pick up" is not attractive. I prefer order with delivery...

The sanding drums maybe but they appear to be the small ones. I will also say that my family once bought a specialty tool that was basically a Dremel with a larger sanding drum and safety guard....
