I guess the point I wanted to make was that some don't require a controller. For example, I have a Honeywell water/leak sensor and it just needs the app. No additional hardware required.

I don't think it's the company. I think the problem is with their wearhouse which I'm guess it is the Zooz manufacturer. They probably couldn't handle all the orders.

Not necessarily true. I have a gas fireplace that is controlled by a wall switch that is 120V. It starts the blower and the low voltage is controlled off of a transformer on the blower circuit.
